BookScholar is a free online forum where college students can buy and sell textbooks locally or nationally. • How do I sell my books? Click the sell button on the menu at the top of the page. You will then be prompted to enter your e-mail address, password, and the book's information. You must register to receive your password. You will also be prompted for the number of days to list the book. For example, if you choose 45 days, your book will be listed on BookScholar for up to 45 days. If the book sells it will be removed from the listing. If the book does not sell, the book will automatically be removed after the 45 days. • How do I buy a book? When looking a list of books, click "View Information." A page will load with detailed information about the book. To buy this book, enter your e-mail address and password in the box at the bottom of this page and click the "Buy" button. You and the seller will then receive an e-mail with contact information. • Does it cost anything to use BookScholar? BookScholar.com is completely free. We do not charge you anything for using our service. • Who can use BookScholar? Anyone who lives in the United States of America and is at least 18 years of age. • What if I live outside of the USA? Please use this page to buy and sell books internationally. • I just bought or sold a book, now what do I do? The buyer and seller should contact each other via e-mail to make an arrangement for exchanging the book and payment. If the purchased book is not in the buyer's local area, it is the buyer's responsibility to pay any shipping costs. • I can't find a city reasonably near me in the area listing. E-mail help@bookscholar.com with the city and state and we'll add it. • How do the ratings work? After buying a book, you can rate the seller on a scale of 1 to 10 based on accuracy of description, quickness of delivery, etc. • I have a complaint about a user. E-mail your complaint to help@bookscholar.com. • Why is there a "Go" button near the city selection on the main page if it automatically submits? If you choose a state without choosing a city and click "Go," then you will be searching statewide. • Can I post a non-educational book? Sorry. At this time we only allow educational books. |
